Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

• Finance/Accounting degree or equivalent
• Min. 2 years experience in Vat sanity checks- Monthly liquidation-Annual VAT Communication & Declaration
• Min. 2 years experience in Intrastat preparation & submission to Custom
• Black-list knowledge
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Strong system skills (MS Office including Excel, SAP, Oracle desirable,)
• Proactive, ability to operate effectively with minimal guidance.
• Ability to challenge processes and implement improved working methods.
• English: good level

Qualifications/Requirements

• Manage and perform monthly VAT liquidation to ensure correct payment submission within due date • Manage general accounting relating to VAT accounts• Understand key models relating to VAT liquidation, proactively seeking to improve and simplify where necessary.• Build and maintain strong working relationships with foreign teams responsible about AP & AR• Ensure all assigned reconciliations relating to VAT accounts and W/T account are prepared and reviewed accurately and submitted in line with corporate criteria.• Interact and respond to auditor queries, internal and external as necessary (referring to VAT area)• Preparation and submission of VAT and withholding tax on supported ledgers
